Here to transform the jewellery industry.

Founded by two best friends with a shared love of fine jewellery, we set out to challenge the traditional diamond industry by bringing lab-grown diamonds into the spotlight. We saw a gap in both awareness and accessibility, and wanted to create a brand that not only celebrates beauty and craftsmanship but also educates people on the values behind their jewellery choices.

Our mission is simple: to make stunning, high-quality diamond pieces attainable without compromise. Combining timeless design with modern responsibility, ROCORA offers jewellery that reflects both elegance and integrity. Every piece is crafted to be cherished for a lifetime, while ensuring our customers can feel proud of the values their jewellery represents.

The Founders

Jen

Jewellery has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve had the joy of helping people choose pieces that mark their most meaningful moments, from engagements and weddings to personal milestones. What I love most is seeing the way a piece of jewellery can light someone up, becoming a symbol of their story.

Over time, I began to see a shift in what people were looking for: beauty with purpose, and luxury that didn’t come at an unreasonable cost. That’s what inspired me, alongside my best friend, to create ROCORA. It’s not just about offering exquisite designs, but also about sharing knowledge, empowering people to make conscious choices, and making luxury diamonds accessible to all. For me, ROCORA is the culmination of passion, purpose, and a love for jewellery that truly means something.

Katie

I’ve always been drawn to jewellery not just for how it looks, but for how it makes people feel. There’s something so special about seeing someone light up when they find a piece they truly love. That feeling, that moment of happiness, is what has always inspired me.

I’ve spent over 20 years running my own business, and throughout that time my passion for jewellery has always been there. I love knowing that what we create can bring confidence, joy, and a sense of connection.

For me, jewellery is personal. It’s not just a business, it’s a part of who I am. I believe luxury should feel special, but also accessible beautiful pieces that people can wear, love, and treasure every day.

A lab-grown diamond is, at its core, a real diamond. It shares the same chemical composition (pure carbon), crystal structure, and physical properties as a diamond formed deep within the Earth. The difference lies not in what it is, but in how it is created.

While natural diamonds form over billions of years under intense heat and pressure beneath the Earth’s surface, lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled environments using advanced technology that replicates these natural conditions. This process allows a diamond to grow layer by layer, resulting in a stone that is visually and structurally indistinguishable from its mined counterpart.

A Balanced Perspective

It’s important to acknowledge that lab-grown and natural diamonds each have their own appeal. Natural diamonds carry a sense of geological history and rarity that some people deeply value. Lab-grown diamonds, on the other hand, offer a more contemporary approach, shaped by innovation and accessibility.

Neither choice is inherently better—it simply depends on what feels right to you.

About lab-grown diamonds

  • There are two primary methods used to grow diamonds in a laboratory:

High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT): This method mimics the natural conditions under which diamonds form underground.

Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD): This technique involves placing a small diamond seed in a chamber filled with carbon-rich gas, allowing the diamond to grow gradually over time.

Both methods produce diamonds that can be cut, polished, and graded in exactly the same way as mined diamonds.

  • This is one of the most common questions—and understandably so. Lab-grown diamonds are not imitations or substitutes like cubic zirconia or moissanite. They are considered real diamonds by gemological standards, as they possess the same hardness, brilliance, and durability.

That said, they are typically identifiable using specialised equipment, which can distinguish them from natural diamonds based on subtle differences in growth patterns.

  • There are a number of reasons why someone might consider a lab-grown diamond:

Transparency of origin: The creation process is known and controlled.
Environmental considerations: While not impact-free, lab-grown diamonds generally avoid large-scale mining.
Value: They are often priced lower than natural diamonds of comparable size and quality.

Each of these factors can matter differently depending on personal priorities.

In Summary

A lab-grown diamond is a genuine diamond created through modern technology rather than geological processes. It offers the same beauty and durability, with a different story behind it.

For many, that story—grounded in science, transparency, and evolving values—is part of its appeal.
